Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. beet juice
2 c. freshly cooked or canned sliced beets
Preparation

Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt together.
Add the vinegar and beet juice.
Cook sauce until clear.
Add the beets.
Keep beets and sauce in warm place for 30 minutes before serving.
