Aunt Betty'S Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    3 lb. flour
    1/2 lb. butter
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 yeast cakes
    grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm milk.
    Put 1 cup flour in bowl with a hole in center.
    Pour yeast in and let stand 20 minutes.
