Apple Skillet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 c. apples, pared, cored and sliced very thin
1/3 c. raisins (optional)
2/3 c. Pet milk (canned, undiluted)
2 egg whites
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. Crisco
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

May also be used with canned pineapple, drained.
