Basic White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    3/4 c. scalded milk
    1 c. water
    7 c. sifted flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
Preparation
    Combine yeast in 1/2 cup water; add milk and 1 cup water to yeast.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Beat until smooth. Cover; let stand for 15 minutes.
    Knead dough until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
    Punch down and let rise again for 30 minutes.
    Divide into 2 parts.
    Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
    Shape into loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
