Grandma O'Neill'S Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    6 Tbsp. butter, softened
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Combine buttermilk and eggs.
    Set aside.
Combine dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda and caraway seed) in a large bowl.
Using your fingers, work softened butter into the dry mixture until butter is the size of small peas and evenly distributed.
    Stir in raisins.
Pour buttermilk and eggs into the dry mixture until mixture is moist.
If mixture is too moist, add a little extra flour.
Pour onto a floured surface. Shape into a large rounded loaf (or put into two 9 x 5-inch oiled loaf pans) and put on a teflon tray.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Enjoy!
