Chinese Style Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    6 c. fresh asparagus, cut in bias pieces 1 1/2-inches long
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat large skillet; add salad oil and when hot, add the asparagus.
    Sprinkle with seasonings.
    Cover.
    Lift skillet slightly above high heat and shake it constantly while cooking. Cook asparagus only until tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
    Reduce heat to medium if necessary, during last minute or so of cooking.
    Don't overcook!
