Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    bread croutons (crust trimmings from 1 to 2 loaves of bread)
    1 1/2 lb. bulk sausage
    6 to 8 oz. medium Cheddar cheese
    6 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Break trimmings (bread croutons) into small pieces.
    Toast and butter in oven.
    Spread in 9 to 12-inch casserole dish.
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Sprinkle over croutons.
    Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over sausage.
    Mix eggs, milk and salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour mixture over casserole.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    You can substitute Spam, ham or crumbled bacon for sausage.
