Nothing To It Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can cherries in heavy syrup
    1 medium can crushed pineapple
    1 box white or yellow cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 14-inch baking pan.
    Spread the cherries and pineapple (undrained) in pan.
    Sprinkle over that the cake mix (dry).
    Drizzle over cake mix 1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted.
    Add nuts over the top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
