Wayne'S Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Combine egg yolks, milk and oil; stir into dry ingredients.
    Fold in beaten egg whites and vanilla extract, leaving a few fluffs.
    Pour into hot waffle iron. Waffles are done when they are crisp on the outside.
    Serve with warmed maple syrup.
