Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. molasses
    2 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and molasses. Stir in dry ingredients. Chill for an hour. Roll into small balls.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Makes about 9 dozen.
