Candied Sweet Potatoes(From Gertrude Hart'S Recipe File) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 medium or 3 large sweet potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter (not margarine)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water

Preparation

Peel raw potatoes and slice.
Combine butter, sugar and water in skillet.
Cook on medium heat for 1 hour, turning often.
