No Fail Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. cream
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in a saucepan; let boil 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Add powdered sugar, mixing until right texture for spreading on cake.
    Add vanilla, if desired.
