Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole, cut-up fryer
    2 c. flour
    garlic powder
    pepper
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Rinse chicken, pulling off all visible fat; set aside.
    Pour flour, garlic and pepper (enough for flavoring) into paper bag. Shake chicken in bag so that it is completely coated.
    Fry at medium heat, using oil.
    Sprinkle garlic and pepper for seasoning. Turn chicken over so that all sides are browned.
    Fry approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
