Clam Patty(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. chopped Bay quahaugs
    2 c. cooked, mashed potatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Drain clams and combine with mashed potatoes, butter, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
    Add beaten eggs; mix well.
    Shape into 12 patties of equal size.
    Fry in hot fat until lightly brown on both sides.
