Ingredients

2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. rum
10 ladyfingers or 6 thin slices pound cake
1 large banana, peeled and sliced
1 (8 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks, well drained
2 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, beat whole eggs and egg yolks.
Stir in milk and first 1/4 cup sugar.
Cook and stir over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened and coats a metal spoon.
Remove from heat; stir in rum.
Chill.
