Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. vinegar
4 to 6 c. chopped firm apples
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. dry roasted peanuts
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation

Drain and reserve pineapple liquid.
Combine first 4 ingredients plus pineapple juice.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.
Let cool.
When cool, add fruit, nuts and Cool Whip.
Keep refrigerated.
