Colonial Damsel Pie(Served At King'S Arms Tavern In Williamsburg) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. Damson plum preserves
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
whipping cream or Cool Whip
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat eggs with mixer until pale yellow. Gradually add brown sugar, mixing well.
Mix in the butter.
Add the preserves.
Turn into the pie shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until filling is almost firm.
Cool.
Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
This may be frozen until needed.
Thaw at room temperature.
