Terry'S Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. oleo or butter
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    3 Tbsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. ground cloves
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 c. heavy cream or whipping cream
    9 c. flour
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large stainless steel pan.
    Add sugar, molasses and spices.
    Stir over low heat until well blended.
    Stir in egg and baking soda.
    (Mixture will froth slightly.)
    Add heavy cream and stir until well blended.
    Remove from heat and stir in flour.
    (You may find it easier to mix in last cup of flour with hands.)
    Cover dough and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Roll out desired amount and shape.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Extra dough can be refrigerated for several weeks.
