Potatoes Romanoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cooked, cubed potatoes
    2 tsp. salt, divided
    2 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. minced onion
    dash of garlic powder
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Cook potatoes only until tender.
    Cool, cube and measure. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, remaining salt, onion and garlic powder.
    Mix thoroughly, then fold into potatoes gently.
    Place in buttered casserole.
    Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
    At this point, it may be baked or refrigerated for later use.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until bubbly and slightly golden brown.
    Serves 6 to 8.
