Sweet Potato Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 c. evaporated sweet milk
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients using electric mixer.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Pour into 9-inch pie shells.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until a knife stuck in the middle is clean.
    Brush brown sugar over top of pies and on crust.
    This make 2 pies.
