Texas Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. light syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. melted oleo
2 1/2 Tbsp. dark rum
7 oz. pecans
Preparation

Beat eggs lightly.
Add sugar, syrup and oleo, mixing to blend. Do not overbeat.
Stir in rum and pecans.
Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until filling is golden and firm to light touch.
