Frosted Molasses Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/3 c. coffee (hot and strong)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Blend egg, molasses and coffee into sugar mixture.
    Sift together remaining ingredients and add to liquid mix.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 until done.
