Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/4 c. buttermilk or sour cream
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. chopped nuts
3 large or 4 small bananas, mashed
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs.\tCombine flour and salt.
(If self rising flour is used, omit the salt but add soda.) Add flour mixture, buttermilk, soda, bananas to the sugar and shortening and mix well.
Fold in nuts.
Spray a large loaf pan with Pam.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
