Cranberry Sauce Cake Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained (reserving juice)
    1/4 c. pineapple juice
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 (16 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
Preparation
    Cook the 1/4 cup pineapple juice and cornstarch in saucepan until thickens (1 minute).
    Add cranberry sauce.
    Cool and refrigerate.
    Spread between three 9-inch cake layers.
