English Pea And Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (2 c.) cut asparagus
    1 can (2 c.) tiny English peas
    1 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (5 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
Preparation
    Drain asparagus and peas.
    Place in buttered Corning dish. Mix crumbs with melted butter; brown and sprinkle half over vegetables.
    Add mushrooms.
    Make sauce:
    Melt 4 tablespoons butter; stir in flour and salt slowly.
    Add milk and stir until sauce thickens.
    Stir in cheese spread.
    Pour sauce over vegetables and top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until well heated.
