Spiced Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Stir the sugar, milk and cinnamon until sugar melts.
    Boil slowly until it reaches soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and pecan halves.
    Stir together until very stiff.
    Pour out onto wax paper; separate into pieces.
    Let set until they harden.
    Store in airtight container.
