Salty Peanut Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 egg
    3 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (10 oz.) bag peanut butter chips
    2/3 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. crispy rice cereal
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Mix together first three ingredients and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle marshmallows over cake.
    Put back into oven until they are puffy.
    Combine peanut butter chips, Karo syrup and vanilla in a large saucepan and heat until chips are melted.
    Add peanuts and rice cereal and stir to coat.
    Drop topping by spoonfuls onto puffy marshmallows.
    Cool completely and cut into 2-inch squares.
