Anise Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
7 drops anise oil
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 c. flour

Preparation

Beat sugar, butter and egg until creamy. Stir in flavoring. Add flour, salt and baking powder; mix by hand.
Form dough into balls and flatten.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Ice with powdered sugar, Pet milk and butter, mixed together.
Makes about 3 dozen.
