Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can peas
    1 (15 oz.) can carrots
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 lb. hamburger
    salt and pepper
    1 onion
    1/2 head cabbage (you can add more if needed)
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Open all cans into crock-pot, crushing tomatoes.
    Chop cabbage up into fine, long strips (like cole slaw), adding to crock-pot. Dice onion up.
    Brown hamburger, draining grease off.
    Add to crock-pot.
    Salt and pepper well.
    Crock-pot will appear full, but will cook down as the day rolls on.
    Let cook in crock-pot on low for 6 to 8 hours.
