Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1 c. mashed ripe banana
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
Set aside.
Cream sugar and shortening until light.
Add eggs, one at a time and then the milk, beating until smooth.
Add flour mixture and bananas alternately, beating until smooth.
Fold in the nuts.
Pour batter into lightly greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
