George'S Cherry Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. uncooked quick cooking oats
    1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    Pour pie filling into 8-inch square baking pan.
    In small bowl, combine flour and butter.
    With pastry blender or 2 knives, scissor-fashion, cut in butter.
    Add oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well.
    Sprinkle over cherries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
    If desired, serve topped with whipped cream.
