Sweet Sour Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can or 2 c. cooked, sliced beets
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch or 4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar or orange juice
Preparation
    Put drained beets into 1 1/2-quart casserole with cover.
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add water slowly; stir so that flour does not lump.
    Pour over beets.
    Put cover on, place in a 350\u00b0 oven and bake for 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
