Maple Syrup Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. cornmeal
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Stir together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add the remaining ingredients and combine until well blended.
    Pour batter into a well-greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, until firm in the center and golden on the edges.
    Makes 6 servings.
