Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. dark Karo
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 qt. popped corn, unsalted
Preparation
    Keep corn hot in 250\u00b0 oven.
    Melt butter, stir in sugar, syrup and salt.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over corn, mix well.
    Turn into large shallow roasting pan. Bake 1 hour in 250\u00b0 oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
    When cool, break in pieces.
    Makes 5 quarts.
