Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. chopped cranberries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients and cut in shortening.
    Combine juice, rind and egg; mix into dry ingredients.
    Fold in berries and nuts. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
