Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    3 tsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream together butter and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs and lemon peel to butter and sugar and beat well.
    Adding a little at a time, mix flour mixture and milk into butter mixture, beating smooth after each addition until all milk and flour mixture has been added.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Let cool in pan for 5 minutes.
    Take a toothpick and prick holes in bread.
    Mix 3 teaspoons lemon juice with 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Pour slowly over bread so mixture seeps in.
