The James Gang'S Cream Cheese Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 slices bread
cream cheese, softened
preserves (any flavor)
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
butter or margarine

Preparation

Spread 2 slices of bread generously with cream cheese and preserves.
Top with remaining bread.
Beat egg and milk together. Heat butter in large skillet.
Dip sandwiches in egg mixture, coating on both sides.
Saute in butter until golden brown on both sides.
Serves 2.
