Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. persimmon pulp, mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. dates and raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add egg. In a second bowl, combine dry ingredients.
    Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to 1 cup persimmon pulp in 3rd bowl.
    Combine all ingredients in 3 bowls.
    Add walnuts, dates and raisins.
    Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
