Seven Ribbon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (3 oz.) pkg. jello in strawberry, lime, lemon and orange flavors
    2 pkg. unflavored Knox gelatine
    6 c. boiling water
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
    In another pan, add 1/2 cup cold water to the unflavored gelatine.
    Add to hot milk mixture.
    Stir until well mixed.
    Cool.
    Add the sour cream to this mixture.
    Dissolve the jello, one box at a time, with 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
    Pour one flavor into 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Chill until set.
    Once the first layer of jello is set, pour 1 1/2 cups of sour cream mixture over jello.
    Refrigerate until set.
    Repeat this procedure with each package of jello.
    Kids love this!
