Cinnamon Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cakes yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    7 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast the 1 tablespoon sugar in lukewarm liquid. Add 3 cups flour and beat until smooth.
    Add shortening and sugar that has been thoroughly creamed and eggs beaten light.
    Then add all the rest of the flour and salt.
    Turn on board and knead lightly.
    Place in greased bowl and let rise for 2 hours.
    Roll out in oblong pieces, 1/4 inch thick.
    Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins (optional).
    Roll up lengthwise, cut as desired and put in greased pans to rise again for 1 hour or until light.
    Bake and ice with plain powdered sugar.
