Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 pkg. onion soup mix
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    2 c. raw rice
    4 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in oil using Dutch oven.
    Remove pork chops. Add rice and brown slightly, stirring constantly.
    Add water and place pork chops on top of rice.
    Cook in oven at 400\u00b0
    about 1 hour or until rice is done.
