Easy Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 can pineapple slices, drained and cut into halves
1 box yellow cake mix
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt margarine over low heat in 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over margarine. Arrange pineapple halves and cherries in pan.
Prepare cake mix as directed and pour over fruit in pan.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes. Invert at once onto foil covered baking sheet.
Leave pan over cake for few minutes; remove pan.
