Hungarian Kifle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    1 lb. cream cheese
    5 c. flour
    1 jar jam (apricot, peach or raspberry works well)
Preparation
    Mix cheese and butter well.
    Add flour; mix until it stays in a ball.
    Let stand until well chilled in refrigerator.
    Roll out thin; cut into 2-inch squares.
    Fill with dots of jam.
    Fold in 2 corners to make crescents.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Can be frozen raw or baked until needed.
    Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
