Buttermilk Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 egg white, stiffly beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Mix buttermilk, 2/3 of the sugar, salt, pineapple and vanilla.
    Freeze until half frozen.
    Beat well.
    Beat the egg white until stiff; add remaining sugar.
    Fold into the pineapple mixture and return to freezer and freeze until ready to eat.
