Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef chuck or round
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1/4 c. oil
1 c. green onion, thinly sliced
1 c. red or green peppers, cut into 1 inch squares
2 stalks of celery
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. of water
2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
Preparation

Cut beef across grain into thin strips.
Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and add beef.
Toss and set aside while preparing vegetables.
Heat oil in large frying pan on wok.
Add beef, brown well on high heat.
If meat is not tender cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes on low heat.
Add vegetables and cook on high about 10 minutes or until tender crisp.
Mix cornstarch with water, add to pan and cook until thickened.
Add tomatoes and heat through.
