Chocolate Loves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. quick oats
Preparation
    In heavy 2-quart saucepan, melt butter or margarine and chocolate.
    Add sugar and milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and thoroughly blended. Remove from heat and stir in nuts, coconut and vanilla.
    Fold in oats.
    Cool mixture to medium-warm.
    Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls.
    Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheets.
    Chill until firm.
    Makes about 6 dozen.
    Contains about 30 calories each.
