Baked Beans Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 strips bacon, browned crisp
    2 medium onions
    1 green pepper
    2 tomatoes or 1 can tomatoes
    pepper and salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 cans beans
Preparation
    Brown onions and pepper (green) in 3 tablespoons bacon fat. Add tomatoes and seasonings.
    Simmer for 2 hours, then add to beans in casserole.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Very good.
