Quick Cheese Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. Bix-Mix
3/4 c. milk or water
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Empty Bix-Mix into a large bowl.
Stir in milk or water and eggs; beat with wooden spoon until smooth.
Add mustard and 1 cup of cheese; mix thoroughly.
Turn batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; dot with butter.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Cool in pan 15 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool on rack before slicing.
Especially good sliced, buttered and toasted.
