Granny'S Homemade Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. thick apple pulp
    1 c. vinegar
    8 c. sugar
    4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    First, core and slice apples, but do not peel.
    Place on stove and add only enough water to cook apples until soft.
    Then run apples through a food press and measure.
    You need 16 cups of apple pulp.
    Then combine all other ingredients with apple pulp. Place on stove and cook until mixture remains in a smooth mass when a little cooled.
    This will require about 50 minutes boiling time.
    Stir frequently to prevent burning.
    When done, pour into sterilized pint size jars and seal while hot.
    Makes around 9 jars.
