Old-Fashioned Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Line a 9-inch pan with plain pastry, brush with slightly beaten
    egg whites (or 1 teaspoon melted butter) and set in refrigerator
    to
    chill
    thoroughly.
    Beat eggs slightly; then beat in sugar, nutmeg and milk.
    Pour into chilled pastry pan. Bake at

    for
    15
    minutes,
    then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and finish baking.
